Jesus is His Word. The Word is not man's thoughts (2 Tim. 3:16). It is God using man, directing him, inspiring him to write down His thoughts. Obey! Obedience is more valued by God than sacrifice (1 Sam. 15:22). We need to stop trying to explain (man's thoughts) what God is trying to say by justifying and rationalizing!
