The body of Christ has been good about "instructing people in Christ". We have our church fellowships, our small groups, men's groups, women's groups, youth groups, Bible studies, etc. Paul warns in 1 Corinthians 4:14-15 that you do not have many fathers or mothers. It's the missing component in our ministry model. Paul writes that he was a spiritual father to Timothy and Titus. Peter was a spiritual father to John Mark. This book will give you an outline on how to spiritually mentor individuals so that you can fulfill the Great Commission (Matt. 28: 19-20).

Discipling Individuals
You can go to church your whole life and know about God but not know Him. You can read the Bible your whole life and know about God but not know Him. This is where discipling comes in.
The Great Commission
We as Christians know what God is calling us to do. It's referred to the "Great Commission". Our primary calling is the Great Commission. Our secondary calling is the venue, the setting, in which we fulfill the first calling.
Spiritual Mentors
Having a spiritual mentor is a Biblical principle. It is not only so that you can be a disciple, but so you can pass it on and "make disciples".
His Children
We are all His children, and He wants us to come to Him. When we pray we are seeking a relationship with Him and coming to Him as our father.
We All Have a Story
Everyone's life is a miracle. Everyone has an amazing and wonderful story, and hence we can all learn from each other's journeys.
